Home Learning

Our new  ‘Home Learning’ policy has been ratified by governors and can be found on our Policies page.

After consultation with parents, staff and pupils, it is much reduced, taking away unnecessary burden, stress and workload for everyone. There will be short weekly spellings and times tables to practice as well as daily reading. That’s it!

The exciting new addition is the half termly home learning project. This is a choice of fun projects linked to topics that should be completed over the course of a half term. It includes things like designing posters, writing letters, visiting places, taking photos, making models and creating digital content. These are designed to be creative and exciting so that children (and parents!) can engage with learning at their own pace, without weekly time pressures.

Information about this half term’s home learning projects has been shared via Class Dojo but copies can be found below.
