Our ‘gutter’ is the fact that we are in Special Measures – there, we’ve said it – but with it comes change, rejuvenation and a unique opportunity to make a difference…that’s the ‘stars’ bit.

Working in a category school is not for everyone, we get that, but it takes a special kind of person, who seeks a special kind of challenge, to work in a special measures school. If this is you, then please get in touch.

We are a new leadership team looking for teachers to be part of our next chapter. We are not after superlatives – the ‘best’ teacher, the most experienced, the strictest practitioner – but rather those with a moral purpose that aligns with ours. We are here to make a difference, break down barriers and raise aspirations. Yes we are taking a school out of special measures, but we are also transforming a community and creating an enduring legacy.

We are looking for the right people in a variety of roles. We have teaching positions in different phases, both permanent and fixed term, full time and part time.  For the right candidate, there may be additional responsibilities, TLRs and leadership opportunities. Unfortunately, Ofsted have said we are not able to appoint NQTs at this moment in time (boooo!)
